The All Blacks have weighed in on their error-ridden display against Georgia in this morning's Rugby World Cup game in Cardiff.

Julian Savea said while the All Blacks started well, the Georgians pressed them well throughout their 43-10 victory.

"Got to give credit to the Georgian team – they put a lot of pressure on us, made us make mistakes and they carried the ball really well," the winger said.

"We got the win, we learn from tonight, and we move on."

Charlie Faumuina said the team brought the attitude and physicality they were after, but they had still been left with a lot to work on as they prepare for their final pool match against Tonga.

"We've just got to keep making sure that we don't keep pushing those passes. It just slows our game down," he said.

"The tempo's good – I think we've just got to make the right decisions when they're bringing that high speed up and putting us under pressure."

Meanwhile winger Waisake Naholo was pleased with his performance – and in particular with his first touch at this Rugby World Cup.

"It was really exciting to get a try with my first touch – I was over the moon," he said.

"[The game] didn't really go to plan but it was good to come up with a try."
