Video: Woody's last hurrah

.

The All Blacks' most capped prop Tony Woodcock has had his international career ended.

The 34-year-old loosehead prop suffered a hamstring injury early in the second half of the 47-9 win over Tonga in Newcastle.

It looked serious - and it's since been confirmed he'll miss three weeks, ending his World Cup and Test career.

As a true veteran of 118 Tests, this World Cup was his last hurrah before retiring.

Canterbury prop Joe Moody has since been given the call up and is en route to London and then ultimately to Wales, where the All Blacks will play their quarter-final against either Ireland or France.

It's a cruel blow to Woodcock who cemented the All Blacks victory four years ago with the now infamous "tea-bag" try.

No decision has yet been made as to whether he'll stay in the UK or return home to New Zealand.

Coach Steve Hansen described Woodcock as an "unsung hero" - but says his team has to move on quickly with such an important knock-out game just days away.

Watch the video above to hear Hansen's comments.
