Young Blackpool midfielder Henry Cameron has been included in the All Whites squad to face Oman next week.
The 18-year-old links up with the team in Muscat for their final game of 2015, and says he's thrilled at the call up.
"It was a very proud moment for myself and my family and it’s an honour to be called up," Cameron said.
"I'm looking forward to meeting all the other lads and hopefully making my debut and putting in a good performance."
Cameron qualifies for the All Whites through his Kiwi-born mother and has made 15 appearances for his club in English League 1 this season.
All Whites coach Anthony Hudson said Cameron will add another dimension to his attacking options going forward.
"Henry is attacking player similar to the likes of Ryan Thomas and Marco Rojas," Hudson said. "He's excited to play for New Zealand and likes the programme we're putting together.
"We're aiming to build the best possible squad of players ahead of our World Cup qualifying campaign and Henry fits right into that thinking."
The All Whites clash with Oman is on Friday 13 November with kickoff at 3am (NZT).
