Honduras ace Luis Garrido suffered a horrendous leg break in a friendly against Mexico in Houston.
The midfielder was caught in an unfortunate position, when Mexico's Javier Aquino fell on his outstretched leg as he attempted to make a tackle.
The 25-year-old's knee went under his body, and surrounding players immediately called for a stretcher to be brought onto the field.
Garrido, who plays for Houston Dynamo in the MLS, was rushed to a Houston hospital.
The game finished in a 0-0 draw.
