Video highlights: Australia lead NZ by 503 runs at stumps on day three of the first Test

Australia have bludgeoned their way to a 503 run lead at stumps on day three of the first Test in Brisbane.

The hosts elected not to enforce the follow-on after dismissing the Black Caps for 317, a magnificent 140 from Kane Williamson the lone bright spot for the visitors.

Dave Warner and Joe Burns then picked up where they left off in the first innings, decimating a wayward bowling attack until play was briefly halted due to rain.

Following the delay the duo looked to pick up the pace, accelerating towards respective centuries before their aggression became their downfall, Warner caught deep off the bowling of Craig for 116, Burns following shortly afterwards for 129, his maiden hundred.

Bad light eventually put an end to play, somewhat mercifully for the New Zealanders, Australia with six wickets remaining in hand.

Australia 4 for 556 dec and 4 for 264 (Burns 129, Warner 116, Craig 3-78) lead New Zealand 317 (Williamson 140, Starc 4-57, Johnson 3-105) by 503 runs
