West Ham and All Whites defender Winston Reid will reportedly be out of action for six weeks after picking up a hamstring injury in training.
Jack Sullivan, the son of West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan and a prolific tweeter of information about the club, posted on social media that the New Zealand captain is facing 4-6 weeks on the sidelines.
"Very bad news... Reid Injured in training 4-6 weeks with hamstring. But some players will return faster than anticipated due to hard work."
The news is the latest in a string of injury blows for the Hammers who are currently without midfielders Dimitri Payet and Manuel Lanzini and strikers Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia.
The club hasn't won a game since losing Payet in a 1-1 draw with Everton in November.
Reid, who missed the All Whites recent win in Oman, isn't expected to miss any time for the national side with no games scheduled until potentially March.
