A rising rugby league player with a Kiwi connection has been caught up in the scandal around the lewd Mitchell Pearce video that could cost the Sydney Roosters captain his career.
19-year-old Jayden Nikorima, whose older brother Kodi made his debut for the Kiwis late last year, was at the house at the time the video was recorded along with former Broncos teammate Dale Copley.
It's understood Roosters officials are interviewing Nikorima about his presence in the now-infamous video.
While there's no implication that Nikorima did anything wrong, the Roosters could impose a minor fine as there is a belief at the club that none of the players should have been out in the early hours of the morning.
