Joseph Parker says he is just happy to have won last night's fight against American southpaw opponent Jason Bergman in his native Samoa.
However the Kiwi heavyweight, who finished his opponent off in the eighth round with a TKO, said there were still many areas that required improvement.
Parker's trainer Kevin Barry said his fighter was perhaps a little too desperate to find the killer blow that would finish Bergman off in front of a rocking Samoan crowd.
