Kiwis and Roosters outside back Shaun Kenny-Dowall has had a hearing date set for his assault charges against his ex-girlfriend.
Kenny-Dowall will go to court for three days from February 24 to fight the allegations of common assault and stalking of his former partner Jessica Peris.
The 28-year-old, who is set to turn out for the Roosters at the Auckland Nines this weekend, has been on bail after pleading not guilty in August, and played on the Kiwis end of year tour.
Kenny-Dowall's lawyer has reportedly found no sign of violence or threats in thousands of texts sent to his ex-girlfriend.
