Australia have reached the final of the Las Vegas Sevens after a last-gasp converted penalty gave them a 14-12 win over South Africa.
Australia skipper Ed Jenkins was caught head high by South Africa's Roscko Speckman, metres from the try-line, resulting in a penalty try long after the hooter sounded.
Quade Cooper nailed the conversion to put Australia through to the final against Fiji.
It capped a terrible afternoon for Speckman who had already given away a penalty try with a no-arms tackle on Quade Cooper that resulted in a yellow card.
With two seconds left in the game, South Africa through the ball out of play, giving Australia a lineout which they managed to turn into a try after a two minutes and seven seconds passage of play.
