There were no weight issues for Mark Hunt in Brisbane, as the Kiwi heavyweight tipped the scale at 264lbs (119.7kg) ahead of tomorrow afternoon's fight against former UFC champion Frank Mir.
Hunt has had problems before previous fights getting under the UFC's 265lbs limit, but the 41-year-old has clearly learnt his lesson.
He famously had to lose 11 kilograms in just one day ahead of his fight against Stipe Miocic in Adelaide last May and has vowed to never do that again. That massive weight cut resulted in a sluggish performance, which saw Hunt beaten to a pulp over five rounds before referee stepped in to mercifully stop the fight.
Mir weighed in at 260lbs (118kg).
Fellow Kiwi James Te Huna also looked very relaxed as he weighed in for his light heavyweight fight with Canadian Steve Bosse, although there was almost a wardrobe malfunction as he removed his shorts before stepping on the scales.
Te Huna's back in the 205lbs (93kg) division after making an ill-fated move to 185lbs (84kg) for his last fight against Nate Marquardt in Auckland.
The other New Zealander on the card, Dan "The Hangman" Hooker weighed in at 146lbs (66kg) for his fight against Mark Eddiva from the Philippines.
