Right, change and composure were the key words at Warriors training today.
Coach Andrew McFadden is backing Tui Lolohea to ignite the backline, but says his team also need a major shift in attitude.
McFadden's axed Jeff Robson and knows results must change too.
"We had some good performances in the lead up to the weekend and we slip back so we need to get back on track," McFadden said.
Lolohea started the season on the wing, but McFadden says they always expected to move him into the halves eventually and he'll pair well with Shaun Johnson.
"That's going to allow Tui to run free I suppose and take opportunities. They're very similar players so what it does mean is that we have genuine running threat on both sides."
After the weekends loss to the Manly Sea Eagles, captain Ryan Hoffman has admitted the lack of discipline was his own undoing.
"That started with me. I needed to handle the situation better regardless of my thoughts of how we were getting treated. I needed to go back to the team and be a bit more composed but that's an area I'm learning and it won't happen again," Hoffman said.
But it's not just mental composure that McFadden is calling for either.
"There's just times when we need to be a bit more desperate to get the football first, there's a lot of loose balls on the ground that they seemed to get to," McFadden said.
There'll be no room for error against the Bulldogs come Saturday at Westpac Stadium where they will also have to overcome a poor record in Wellington, having won just one game from eight encounters.
