All White captain Chris Wood's OFC Nations Cup campaign is 'touch-and-go' after it was revealed he has sustained a grade one strain in his shoulder.
The 24-year-old picked up the injury after scoring two goals early in New Zealand's 5-0 win over Vanuatu.
He'll remain in camp as he looks to recover from the strain in the AC joint at the top of his shoulder.
While Wood has been ruled out for the final Group B game against Solomon Islands, coach Anthony Hudson refuses to rule him out of the tournament.
"He has no chance of playing in the next game and it's touch-and-go as to whether he will play any further part," Hudson said.
"We are just going to monitor it on a day-by-day basis and it depends how quickly he can recover. We hope to have him available for the semi-final if we are to make it but we will just have to wait and see."
New Zealand will play the Solomon Island on Saturday before moving on to the knockout stages after wins over Fiji and Vanuatu.
