Stephen Donald to captain Chiefs against Wales

Stephen Donald will captain the Chiefs in Tuesday night's game against Wales at Waikato Stadium.

Donald replaces regular No.10 Aaron Cruden, who is one of eight Chiefs players on All Blacks duty.

The fixture is the only midweek outing for Wales, who opened their three-Test series against the All Blacks with a 39-21 defeat in Auckland on Saturday night.

Taranaki loose forward Mitchell Brown will make his Chiefs debut at blindside flanker, named alongside five of his fellow Taranaki teammates.

The game kicks off at 6.35 on Tuesday.
