Video: Wales spotted swimming in Mission Bay

The Wales rugby squad greeted the first day of winter in New Zealand by taking a dip in Mission Bay, Auckland.

The Welsh team left the summer weather behind them as they flew into Auckland on Wednesday morning.

After checking into the team hotel in Takapuna, the squad took a stroll through Mission Bay and ended up at the beach.

Some of the team appeared keener than others as they pulled up the shorts and waded into the cool waters.

It's debatable if a summer's day in Cardiff is just as warm as an Auckland winter, but I'd suggest by the look on some of their faces that a swim wasn't the most pleasant experience.
