Wales coach Warren Gatland isn’t buying into the discussion that the 2016 version of the All Blacks has weaknesses.

Some scribes out of the UK are predicting a win for Wales this weekend as they take on the World Champions playing without the likes of Richie McCaw, Daniel Carter, Ma’a Nonu and Conrad Smith.

Gatland doesn’t believe there has ever been a weak All Black side.

"I think you would describe it as pretty arrogant if I talk about weaknesses in an All Black team," he said.

"What you can get is young, excited players coming through lacking in a little experience.

It’s definitely not a weakness but rather some players who haven’t had the same time together as a combination."

"If that’s perceived as a weakness, then take it as you like. but there is never such a thing as a weak All Blacks team."

The Welsh coach was also at pains to stress that his team isn’t here to give the All Blacks a free ride.

"We are under no illusion how tough it is to come here to New Zealand, but we are not here to just make up the numbers and we’re not here to start the rebuilding phase of New Zealand rugby."
