Donald named for Chiefs ahead of Quarterfinal

The Chiefs have called in Stephen Donald to fix their midfield issues ahead of Sunday's Super Rugby quarterfinal in Cape Town against the Stormers.

With Seta Tamanivalu out with a knee injury, and Charlie Ngatai still battling with concussion issues, Donald starts at second-five with Anton Lienert-Brown shifting out to centre.

Tom Sanders also moves into the starting side replacing the ineligible Liam Messam who was ruled out by SANZAR after not being a part of the original chiefs 40 man squad at the start of the season.

Sam McNicol moves to the starting side with Toni Pulu moving to the bench. Shaun Stevenson also gets a spot on the bench

Brad Weber starts at halfback ahead of Tawera Kerr-Barlow with Tom Sanders at number eight and Taleni Seu on the blindside flank.

There's also several changes in the reserves with Mitchell Graham recovering from a hamstring injury to re-join the playing 23. Tevita Koloamatangi could make his first Super Rugby appearance in 2016 having been side lined for most of the season with injuries.
