Jim Sport Go: Bigger is far from better for Super Rugby

There's been talk about Spain or the United States being involved in a bigger and better Super Rugby competition. But that's the problem here. Bigger isn't always better.

You only have to look at the weekend's games to know that big is far from better when it comes to the not-so-super rugby competition.

Japan's Sunwolves were thrashed by 47 points and they've conceded 587 points in their 14 games, and their not even the worst.

The Kings have let through 632 points, despite winning two games, one more than the Sunwolves.

Now the Australian teams aren't much better. The Brumbies, supposedly the best of the Australian teams, were smashed by the Blues, the weakest team New Zealand has to offer.

Australia's only good enough to have three teams at best, and as for the Sunwolves, Jaguares and Kings, well nothing is super about them at all.
