Vodafone wanted to show the capability and speed of the 4G network, so they challenged Whiddett to the #4GRedline stunt: drifting using only pictures transmitted by mobile phone.
Of course, drifting is mostly done sideways - so it took four 4G tablets to take the place of his blacked-out windows. His view of the world outside the Mazda RX7, totally dependent on the Mobile network.

It offered a new experience for Whiddett, feeling like his passengers usually do while sliding around a track.
"The whole experience was amazing and like being in a different world, because switching quickly between those screens actually made me feel a little bit car sick for the first time in my life," he said.
But did it slow him down? Of course not!
