You often hear of athletes having certain things they like to do before they compete, in an attempt to calm the nerves and ease any worries about their upcoming performance.

Call them superstitions or rituals, many of our Olympic athletes also have their own little quirks.

In part five of our series, athletes including shot putter Jacko Gill, sevens player DJ Forbes, hockey player Anita McLaren and rower Emma Twigg tell us about their gameday rituals.
