Video highlights: Eels edge Roosters 22-18 - NRL

Corey Norman has lead the Parramatta Eels back from a 12 point deficit to defeat the Sydney City Roosters  22-18 at Pirtek Stadium.

The Roosters opened the scoring in the ninth minute, Shaun Kenny-Dowall breaking clear from 60 metres out and delivering a deft offload for a streaking Latrell Mitchell to dot down under the crossbar.

Parramatta's underfire winger Semi Radradra's night was a short one, forced from the field early in the half due to apparent ligament damage.

The Eels struck back 10 minutes later through Michael Gordon, pouncing on a Corey Norman grubber to even the scores at 6-6 going into halftime.

Boyd Cordner and Mitchell added two more in quick succession and in identical fashion, pouncing on bombs tapped back by winger Daniel Tupou.

Norman threaded another pinpoint grubber for Manu Ma'u to dive on shortly afterwards, bringing the Eels back to within six points with 20 minutes to play.

The two combined again just minutes later, Ma'u bringing up his brace to tie the score at 18-18 with 12 minutes remaining.

Fittingly it was the boot of Corey Norman which would seal the contest for the Eels, one more grubber for Clinton Gutherson to score out wide.
