Michelle Pickles sat down with Valerie Adams following her silver medal in the shot put this afternoon (NZT).
Adams reflects on her time in Rio and talks about the difficult journey to compete in her fourth Olympic games.
"It's tough, but on the same account, I have to celebrate this medal," said Adams.
Adams threw 20.42 metres which was her best throw in two years, however Michelle Carter from the United States trumped that on her final throw of 20.63 meters to claim the gold.
