If you see Kiwi shooter Natalie Rooney walking around with her head down over the next two weeks, don't worry - it's just the weight of her silver medal.
"It's extremely heavy. It's weighing my neck down a lot," she told Paul Henry on Tuesday morning, speaking from Rio where she's basking in the wake of her Olympic success.
"If I wear it too much, I think I'll be walking around with my head down the whole time. It's huge."
Rooney won New Zealand's first medal of the Rio Games, a silver medal in the trapshooting event.
It comes four years after she was scheduled to compete in London, but bumped at the last minute in favour of another shooter - Ryan Taylor, who eventually came 25th in the 50m rifle prone event.
"It's been a long four years, a lot of hard work and dedication," says Rooney, who spent much of the past four years honing her skills in her dad's back yard.
"I'm so happy to be able to bring this home."
The Olympics have barely begun, but Rooney has no plans to come home just yet.
"I'm going to go and support the rest of our amazing athletes - especially our shooters first. Hopefully I've inspired them to bring another one home."
New Zealand's next medal is guaranteed to come Tuesday morning about 10am (NZ time), when the women's sevens team battle Australia for the gold.
