He's forged a remarkable record in recent seasons but Kiwis captain Jesse Bromwich is quick to throw any praise back on his employers.
The star prop has appeared in a staggering 130 of the Melbourne Storm's last 131 matches, dating back to 2012. And the regular outings haven't hurt his form, as he's picked up Storm Player of the Year for the past three years running.
"It was definitely humbling, we've got a very good team down there, of course Coops [Cooper Cronk] and Cam [Smith] are down there and to win that was pretty special," Browmich told Newshub.
All three are not only well known for their elite level of play, but also for their consistent ability to turn back up week after week, and it's no different going into this weekend's Test match in Perth.
Cronk, Smith and Bromwich were the top three in the Storm Player of the Year votes at the Awards Night on Saturday, and all three were up on a 5am flight to Perth to prepare for Saturday's Test.
"I'm fresh as you can be at this time of year and I'm really looking forward to leading this young squad and hopefully doing a great job for our country," Bromwich said.
"At our club we've got a good system where, if you need a rest, they give you one and it's a couple of days which is very handy mid-season in the grind of the NRL.
"We've got a lot of guys there, I think Tohu [Harris] has played a lot of football as well and he's getting along just fine, so I think the club's done a great job."
Bromwich will lead out the Kiwis for the second time against the Kangaroos on Saturday night, where he'll look to even the ledger after going down 16-0 in his captaincy debut in the ANZAC Test.
