All Blacks take in Chicago Cubs victory parade

Chicago is currently in the midst of sporting euphoria after their Cubs won their first World Series in 108 years, and the visiting All Blacks can't help but be swept up by the occasion.

The Cubs rode through the city's centre in a victory parade for the ages on Saturday morning (NZ time) as their long-suffering fans basked in the glory of their championship, and Israel Dagg wasn't shy in admitting the team had won him over.

"I'm a big Cubs fan now, I'll jump on the wagon," said Dagg.

The outside back, in some resurgent form of his own, confessed he'd seldom visited a city on tour which had come alive like Chicago had over the past week.

"I'm pretty lucky to be here in Chicago with the All Blacks, showcasing rugby as well.

"We're bouncing off the Chicago Cubs win and hopefully get a few Cubs fans to the game, it's awesome."
