Ireland has released a delightful video highlighting their bid for the 2023 Rugby World Cup, narrated by Northern Irish actor Liam Neeson.

South Africa has long been considered as the frontrunner for rugby's biggest event in 2023, but Ireland has showed they won't be easily beaten with a video emphasising its abilities to hold the tournament, accompanied by Neeson's dulcet tones.

Ireland's rugby stocks have continued to rise in 2016 after they recorded their first ever victory over the All Blacks, and provincial team Munster defeated the Maori All Blacks.

Ireland has hosted matches of the Rugby World Cup before but only as joint hosts in 1991 and 1999 respectively, which may hinder its bid to be a sole host.

The next Rugby World Cup will be held in Japan in 2019.
