Kiwi Paul Lasike has been battling to fulfil his NFL dreams this year.
He's chalked up 10 games for the Chicago Bears, and playing in the US' Windy City had other benefits this year for Lasike.
It was a day Paul Lasike had been waiting for months - when he heard the All Blacks were going to play at his home ground - and there was only one place he would be.
"It was a buzz for me," he says. "It was kind of crazy."
Having family in town and fellow All Blacks fans flooding into Soldier Field capped a week where he was able to get some rare tastes of home.
The museum over the road from Soldier Field has a wharenui. It also held a surprise meeting with a boyhood hero.
