Highlights: New Zealand Breakers win second straight match thanks to Kevin Dillard buzzer-beater

American import Kevin Dillard has drained a buzzer-beater to hand the Breakers their second straight victory, 84-82 against the Brisbane Bullets.

With the match tied at 82-82, Dillard made a crucial steal and then set up the match-winning play. Dillard dribbled to the top of the key before stepping back and fading away to hit the magical shot.

Dillard scored a game-high 28 points, shooting 13 of 20 from the field, along with five assists and four steals, while Kirk Penny added 19 points.

Dillard was pumped after hitting the game-winning shot.

"That's what every basketball player dreams of, right there," Dillard said just moments after the money shot.

"The game is on the line, the team has the confidence in you to make the shot.

"I'm glad I could pull through."

Daniel Kickert shot a perfect nine-for-nine from the field and led Brisbane in scoring with 24 points.

The Breakers will next face the Illawarra Hawks in Wollongong this Friday night.
