Highlights: Oklahoma City Thunder fall to Charlotte Hornets

The Oklahoma City Thunder have dropped their second-straight game, after losing 123-112 to the Charlotte Hornets in North Carolina.

In a high-scoring match, the Thunder struggled at times with tough defence as they racked up 11 blocks and eight steals.

Many of the Thunder players were in foul trouble at times and the Hornets cashed in, making 40 of 49 free throws.

Nicolas Batum scored a season-high 28 points for the Hornets, while Kemba Walker chipped in with 20 points and nine assists.

Thunder superstar Russell Westbrook struggled shooting the ball, but finished with 31 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists.

Enes Kanter scored 22 points off the bench, while Victor Oladipo and Steven Adams scored 18 each. Adams also pulled down 12 rebounds.

The Hornets let 27-22 after the first quarter, but the Thunder gained momentum and led 88-87 heading into the final quarter. The Hornets took control with about six minutes left, outscoring the Thunder 22-11 the rest of the way.

The Thunder now have a season record of 21-15, and have a short turnaround as they face the red hot Houston Rockets tomorrow.
