Highlights: Oklahoma City Thunder snap four game losing streak with win over San Antonio Spurs

Kiwi Steven Adams has played a big role for Oklahoma City as they snapped a four-game losing streak by beating the San Antonio Spurs 102-92 at Chesapeake Arena on Friday (NZT).

Adams finished with 11 points and six rebounds in the match and spent portions of the game guarding two-time NBA champion and Spanish legend Pau Gasol.

His teammate Russell Westbrook showed why he is a leading candidate for MVP as he finished with a game-high 23 points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists to record his 31st triple double of the season.

Kawhi Leonard led the Spurs in scoring with 19 points.

After a tightly contested first quarter, the Thunder pulled away in the second  to lead 56-49 at halftime.

The home side continued to build on that lead during the third and led 82-71 heading into the final quarter.

The match was sealed late in the final frame when Westrbook threw an alley-oop pass to guard  Victor Oladipo which pushed the lead out to 18 points.

The Thunder’s next match is against the Utah Jazz on Sunday (NZT).
