Canberra winger Jordan Rapana has been given an official warning by the NRL after flipping the bird in the direction of the referees at the weekend.
The Kiwis star raised both of his middle fingers towards the officials after he was denied what would have been the match-winning try in the golden-point loss to the North Queensland Cowboys on Saturday.
Rapana finished off a great move by the Raiders only to have the try disallowed after the final pass was deemed to have travelled forward.
The NRL on Monday issued the 27-year-old with a concerning act notice for the gesture.
It is understood Rapana wasn't charged because there was quite some distance between him and the officials, making it impossible to deem if his gesture was directed toward them.
The match was eventually won after Johnathan Thurston hit the cross-bar with a drop-goal attempt which was latched on by Gavin Cooper who dotted down for a try.
