Australian batsmen Glenn Maxwell had a tough start to the second day of the third Test against India when his bat broke off the first ball of the day
Indian bowler Umesh Yadav bowled a fast 137km/h ball which Maxwell went to block, and it caused his bat to break into two.
Maxwell went on to score his first Test century, becoming just the second Australian to score a century in all three formats of the game.
The ‘Big Show’ ended up being caught behind for 104, in his first Test for Australia since 2014.
