Highlights: Russell Westbrook tells Steven Adams not to respond following OKC Thunder playoff series loss

Steven Adams' Oklahoma City Thunder may have a foot out of the NBA post-season after a 113-109 home loss to the Rockets but the real fireworks came in the post-match press conference.

After a journalist directed a question at Adams regarding a 38-point swing when Russell Westbrook was on and off the court during the match, the Kiwi received no chance to respond.

"Hold on Steven," Westbrook said cutting off Adams.

"I don't want nobody to try and split us up, we're all one team, regardless of when I go to bench if Steven's on the floor, if I'm off the floor, we're in this together, don't try and split us up."

As the journalist continued pushing with the question, adamant that Adams hadn't answered it, Westbrook called for next question while his teammate sat there with his finger pointed at the MVP candidate.

It was a very good night at the office for Adams who managed 18-points but it wasn't enough as the Rockets' bench starred with Brazilian Nene Hilario who hit a whopping 28-points with 12 from 12 field goals.

With Westbrook hitting a first half triple-double, he once again failed to receive enough support as the visitors found a way to keep the ball away from him.

The loss will hurt the Thunder even more considering how quiet they managed to keep another MVP candidate James Harden, who only managed 16 points.

At 1-3 down, they now head to Houston where they have to win to remain in the series before returning to Oklahoma on Friday.
