Thunder superstar Russell Westbrook tied the NBA season record for triple-doubles during his side's win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday (NZ time).

The point guard needed little more than one half of action to put up his 12 points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists to mark his 41st of the year during a blowout home victory over the Bucks.

Kiwi center Steven Adams had a quiet night with nine points and five rebounds, while Giannis Antetokounmpo was the best of the opposition with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Westbrook will have a chance to break Oscar Robertson's long-standing record when the Thunder take on the Grizzlies in Memphis tomorrow.
