Highlanders winger Waisake Naholo has been suspended for one week for his dangerous tackle against the Bulls on Sunday (NZ time).
Naholo pleaded guilty to the charge relating to his late shoulder charge on Bulls midfielder Burger Odendaal which resulted in a red card in the second half of his side's hard-fought 17-10 win.
A Sanzaar foul play review committee accepted a guilty plea from Naholo and said the incident was at the lower end of the scale.
A two-week ban was reduced to one because of Naholo's good judicial record and early plea.
He will miss Saturday's match against the Force in Perth but will be available for the subsequent home match against the Waratahs.
