Black Ferns run rampant over hapless Canadian side in 48-5 Rugby World Cup win

The Black Ferns have blitzed Canada in Dublin to storm into the semi-finals of the Women's Rugby World Cup.

Tighthead prop Aldora Itunu scored a hat-trick in the 48-5 victory over the runners-up from the last World Cup in 2014.

The forwards were dominant, led by captain Fiao'o Faamausili, in her fiftieth test match, who capped of a memorable day with a second-half try herself.

The New Zealanders are set to avoid tournament favourites England in the semi-finals. 

New Zealand will play the United States in the final four while England will clash with Northern Hemisphere rivals France.
