A Blackcaps reunion has stolen the show on the opening night of the Caribbean Premier League Twenty-20 competition.

Chasing the St Lucia Stars' score of 132, former captain Brendon McCullum and fellow big-hitter Colin Munro have let rip for the Trinbago Knight Riders, leading their side to a nine-wicket win with 58 balls to spare.

The pair smashed quick-fire half centuries in an unbroken second-wicket partnership of 132.

Munro hit seven fours along with three sixes to finish with 66 runs off 39 balls, while McCullum blasted seven sixes and two fours to finish with 58 runs off 27 deliveries.

Former Blackcaps opener Jessie Ryder scored 18 for the Stars.
