The former partner of NRL star Bryce Cartwright has been found dead in her Sydney home.
Police were called to the home of New Zealand born Brittany Hura at 6.36pm on Monday where they discovered her body.
According to a police report, her death is not believed to be suspicious.
Ms Hura had been charged with stalking the Penrith Panthers player in December but the charges were subsequently dismissed on mental health grounds.
It followed Hura's threats to kill Cartwright in a video posted to social media as well as sharing an explicit photo of her former beau on Instagram.
Hura was issued with a two-year restraining order, preventing her from going within 250m of Cartwright, the Penrith Panthers Leagues Club or Pepper Stadium.
She was also bound to comply with a 'treatment plan' provided by doctors.
Friends took to social media to pay tribute and express shock at her sudden death.
"RIP BRINNEY HURA Condolences to all her whanau. Too soon and so young ... rest easy gurl," one friend wrote on Facebook.
"She was a beautiful girl! RIP," another said.
Her aunty Lea Kelz Tiepa spoke of her heartache: "Will keep everybody posted on funeral updates ... my poor niece," she wrote.
