Despite losing just one game on their way to an eighth title, Super Rugby have snubbed the champion Crusaders in its "team of the season" for 2017.
Not one representative has been included in the side named on Wednesday, with the Highlanders also entirely overlooked.
Of the New Zealand players, Blues halfback Augustine Pulu, Hurricanes Beauden Barrett and Ngani Laumape, and Chiefs duo James Lowe and Damian McKenzie fill out the backline.
In the forwards, Hurricanes flanker Ardie Savea is the lone Kiwi involved.
The remainder is made up of five South Africans, three Australians, and one from Argentina's Jaguares in lock Petti Pagadizvaal. None of Japan's Sunwolves made the cut.
Meanwhile, Chiefs fullback McKenzie has earned the "player of the season" award for the second consecutive year, topping the statistical charts for carries, metres, and defenders beaten.
The All Blacks utility also placed in the competition's top three for clean breaks and points.
