Bonneval declared fit for Caulfield Cup despite concerns from Australian officials

Veteran Kiwi trainer Murray Baker has declared his horse, Bonneval, good to go for Saturday's A$3 million (NZ$3.3 million) Caulfield Cup.

Bonneval has won seven of her 11 starts, including the New Zealand and Australian Oaks, with earnings of NZ$1.75 million.

But Australian authorities fear she pulled up lame, after her sixth placing in last week's Caulfield Stakes, insisting that further vet checks are required.
