Kiwis give back to grassroots ahead of World Cup opener

For the past two days, the NZ Kiwis have gone back to grassroots footy.

There have been no fancy hotels or room service, just mattresses on the floor at the marae. It was an exercise to help the 24-strong squad bond, as they prepare for the Rugby League World Cup.

The Kiwis begin their World Cup on October 28 against Samoa, and also play matches against Scotland and Tonga in pool play.
