One of the Silver Ferns most experienced players has admitting she's struggling to hit top gear in the international arena.
After back to back losses to Australia, midcourter Shannon Francois has taken a good, hard look at her performances and she's not happy.
Francois was a standout for the Southern Steel during the domestic netball league, but that hasn't translated into the black dress.
"Consistency is another thing I'm struggling with at the moment," Francois said.
"I think just the change of pace and being available a bit more rather than running long leads. Defensively we need to pick it up as a unit and myself individually."
The Ferns trail Australia 2-0 in Constellation Cup with Tests in Adelaide and Sydney still to be played.
