Denmark have become the final European team to qualify for next year's World Cup after they beat the Republic of Ireland 5-1 in their qualifying play-off second leg.

A hat-trick from midfielder Christian Eriksen highlighted the Danes' dominance in Dublin, despite the hosts taking an early lead.

After a goalless first leg, Denmark took control of the tie in the away match to qualify for a fifth World Cup appearance and first since 2010.
