World Rugby has released its list of the top five most viewed rugby videos on social media in the past 12 months, and topping the list are the Black Ferns.

The Black Ferns had a magical year which saw them win the Women's Rugby World Cup and also won World Rugby's team of the year at the World Rugby awards.

And now their pre-match haka before their World Cup semi-final clash against the United States has become the most watched rugby video on social media.

The haka was watched by more than 21.7 million people around the world, 20.5 million more than the next highest video - a penalty shootout in the Rugby Europe U20 Championship between Belgium and the Netherlands.

Also featuring in the top five was a video of a young reacting to the All Blacks under-20s haka at the World Championships, a try scored by Georgian fullback Soso Matiashvili against Canada and Sevens star Pery baker scoring a try against England in Las Vegas.

The videos were watched 1.7 million, 1.1 million and 754,000 times respectively.
