Top 14 side, The Union Bordeaux Begles have announced the signing of All Blacks centre and winger, Seta Tamanivalu on a three-year deal.

The three-time Test international will link up with the French outfit at the end of the New Zealand rugby season.

Tamanivalu made his All Blacks debut against Wales in 2016, but has since struggled for selection.

The Crusaders player was part of their Super Rugby winning-side last year, having made the move from the Chiefs.

Tamanivalu burst onto the scene for Taranaki and led the province to a Premiership title in 2014, where he was subsequently named the provincial player of the year on the back of his seven tries.

He will join Kiwis Simon Hickey and Luke Braid at the club.

Tamanivalu is just one of several All Blacks who have confirmed they will be leaving New Zealand to take up deals overseas, joining Liam Messam and Charlie Ngatai in the move to France.
