Kiwi UFC star Mark Hunt has revealed he's been offered a boxing bout against Australian rugby league enforcer Paul Gallen.

The 43-year-old told news.com.au that he's been swamped with offers to jump into the ring against the likes of the former NSW State of Origin captain when his MMA career likely comes to a close at the end of this year.

"Maybe I will chase a boxing title after that. Conor (McGregor) fought the best boxer (Floyd Mayweather) in the world so who knows?" said Hunt.

"I've been offered Lucas Browne and Paul Gallen. Who is looking after these guys? Come on guys.

"I know Gal. We have lunch sometimes. You can’t really fight friends or family but it depends if the money is right."

While the 36-year-old World Cup winner is no stranger to the ring - undefeated through seven professional fights - Hunt is clearly an altogether different proposition.

The South Aucklander has three fights left on his UFC contract and has already expressed his intent to hang up the gloves once that deal expires.

For now, the 'Super Samoan' is fully focused on his match-up with Curtis Blaydes at UFC 221 in Perth next month, currently in the Gold Coast in the thick of his training camp.

"I've already been offered three boxing fights. I'm still chasing the UFC dream. I want to be the best mixed martial artist in the world.

"I've got this one in Perth then hopefully I can push out two more before the end of the year and my contract will be up."

The fight against the 10th-ranked Blaydes will be his first since being controversially suspended by UFC president Dana White after speaking out about his battles with memory loss and slurred speech.

He's since been cleared to return to the Octagon following testing at a brain institute in Las Vegas and says he holds no ill will towards his employers, despite the blow to his bank balance.

"I was angry at the time they pulled me off….I lost over a million dollars."

"I've got nothing against Dana. They are just looking after themselves.

"I said I sometimes slur my speech or sometimes forget stuff but who the f**k wants to remember all the bad shit?"

Hunt takes on Curtis Blaydes on February 10th at Perth Arena.
