Kiwi Steven Adams has played one of his best games of the season as the OKC Thunder claimed a 101-91 win over the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday (NZ Time).
The centre scored 14 points (7-11FG) and pulled down 11 rebounds to go along with four blocks and three steals as the Thunder snapped a three-game losing streak.
Teammate Russell Westbrook scored a game-high 25 points while Paul George contributed with 17 as the Thunder avenged a loss earlier this season to the Hornets.
Kemba Walker scored 19 points for the Hornets at the Spectrum Centre in front of a sell-out crowd.
In a back-and-forth contest, the Hornets took a 59-55 led at the break but the Thunder pulled away in the second half, outscoring the home side 46-32 to secure the win.
The Thunder remain in fifth place in the Western Conference with a record of 23-20, and will face the Sacramento Kings in their next match on Tuesday (NZ time).
