Olympic diver Tom Daley is having a baby with his husband Dustin Lance Black.
The 23-year-old made the announcement on Instagram via a picture of a baby scan.
The caption reads "Happy Valentines Day" with an emoji of two men and a small person in the middle.
Mr Black shared the same picture on Twitter with a caption "A very happy #ValentinesDay from ours to yours."
The couple did not announce details about a surrogate, or when they baby is expected.
Mr Black wrote the screenplay for the award-winning feature film Milk.
The couple have been together since 2013 and were married at Boey Castle in England last year.
