Kiwi Steven Adams has a rough day at the office after falling hard during the Oklahoma City Thunder’s 108-100 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday (NZT).
Towards the end of the second-quarter, Portland center Jusuf Nurkic deliberately ran into Adams, who would go down in a heap.
Adams did not seem too bothered by the contact, but it was Russell Westbrook who took the most offence.
The star point-guard got in the face of Nurkic and was visibly upset by the treatment of his teammate.
NBA officials were quick to step-in between the disgruntled players after calling Nurkic for the foul.
Adams would finish the game with 12 points, and seven rebounds.
