Steven Adams has yet again made the case he's one of the best centres the NBA has to offer, notching an emphatic double-double in the Oklahoma City Thunder's win over the Miami Heat on Saturday (NZT).

It's the big Kiwi's 25th of the season, scoring 24 points to go with his 12 rebounds.

Adams punished the Heat in the paint and shot 9-for-13 from the field, leading the Thunder to a comeback victory after trailing by two points heading to the fourth quarter.

Former MVP Russell Westbrook counted for 27 points and 13 boards of his own, leaving the Thunder in fourth place in the Western Conference.

Oklahoma City will host the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday (NZT).
